Good to know before you order
KiddyView has original, wired Apple CarPlay necessary. With four short checks you know if your car, screen and phone are the right combination.

Step 1 of 4 · The system
It's about Apple CarPlay on the original screen of the car. You're not sure? You can just go ahead and do the practice test.
Step 2 of 4 · Your phone
The current version of KiddyView uses Apple CarPlay and therefore requires an iPhone.
Step 3 of 4 · The practical test
A wired connection is required. KiddyView works when Apple CarPlay via a USB- or USB-C-data cable on the original car screen can start.
Wait until the multimedia system is fully started.
Use a USB or USB-C cable and unlock your iPhone.
Some ports only charge; often only supports one port Apple CarPlay.
Give the connection up to a minute to start.
Step 4 of 4 · The car screen
Check if you can control the car screen with touch.
Check successful
You use an iPhone, your car has its original touchscreen and Apple CarPlay starts via cable. That means your car has everything KiddyView needs.
None CarPlay found
The current KiddyView-version has original, wired Apple CarPlay necessary. Android Auto-only and wireless-only CarPlay are not supported.
iPhone and Apple CarPlay required
The current version of KiddyView works with an iPhone and wired Apple CarPlay. We’re also developing support for Android Auto.
Autoscreen not supported
KiddyView is operated via the touchscreen of your car. A system that only works with physical buttons is therefore not supported.
